Harrowdown is an Artist Edition of 20 books made from Spinks’ Harrowdown Hill work on the death of Dr. David Kelly.
This hand-bound edition includes an exclusive text by Jem Southam written especially for this special edition. As well as using a different edit, a difference sequence, and the use of exclusive material such as the portraits of the dead leaves and 35mm images of military aircraft from nearby RAF Brize Norton flying over Harrowdown, we used the Iraq Dossier to create transparencies that disrupt the movement of the audience through the landscape. Each one has been created by the redaction of bodies of text that leave fragments of information.
