This project explores our mortality through the beauty that nature provides in its cyclical patterns of death and rebirth. Challenging our modern denial of death and abject reaction to the inevitable the passage of time, Seeds positions the physical body, raw and exposed, in the landscape as an act of reconnection to life and Mother Nature. I have become part of the natural world, accepting the transience of all our lives without repulsion or fear. We never leave this earth. Our bodies return to the ecosystem and echoes of each person are seen in the growth of the trees and the birth of seeds.
