What Ben has achieved in this series of images encapsulates his passion for a medium that he has been obsessed with since his formative years. These are intimate journal entries taken around the world from Rwanda to New York to domestic spaces in his family home. Each image is given the same importance; from the way dust clings to a sheet draped over a building to the way the light falls against the wall on the top of the stairs of his house, everything is connected. Sequenced without an overt narrative Ben allows the audience to create their own interpretations of the relationship between the images, which reflect his idiosyncratic association with photography.
